What we collect
From businesses (our customers): your email, business name, time zone, services, hours, and the details you add to your booking page (photos, intro, city, cancellation policy). Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
From your clients, when they book: name, email, appointment time and any note they type. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page. We never see or store card numbers.
Why we use it
To run your booking page, take deposits, send confirmation, reminder and running-late emails, bill your DepositBook plan, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us run the service
Stripe (payments and billing), Brevo (sending email), Neon (database) and Cloudflare (hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your clients' information
A business that uses DepositBook decides how it uses its own clients' information. Clients who want their information changed or removed should contact the business directly, or write to us.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep information while an account is active, and as long as needed for payments, tax and legal records. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
