Terms of Service
DepositBook is run from Ontario, Canada. Last updated October 2026.
What DepositBook is
DepositBook gives appointment businesses an online booking page where clients pay a deposit to hold their time. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Plan and billing
The plan is CA$29 per month after a 14-day free trial. Billing is handled by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
Deposits and your clients
Deposits are paid by your clients directly to your own Stripe account. DepositBook does not hold your money and does not take a share of your deposits. Stripe's card fees and terms apply to every payment.
You are responsible for your services, your cancellation policy, any refunds, and any disputes or chargebacks with your clients. DepositBook is not a party to the agreement between you and your clients. Make sure your cancellation policy is clear and shown before payment.
Your account
Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use DepositBook for anything unlawful, misleading or abusive.
Service availability
We work to keep DepositBook running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, DepositBook is not liable for lost bookings, lost income or indirect losses.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You may close your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
